Overview

The scholarship provides a substantial discount (approximately 75%) on the cost of starting the program and on the first CFA Level 1 exam. The exam is scheduled for May or August next year in Bogotá.

Students meeting the eligibility criteria must register through the CFA platform following the instructions below in the document issued by the CFA.

In addition to the requested platform information, students must submit the English language proficiency certificate and a one-page letter outlining their strategy for preparing for the exam during the first semester of each year.

The Faculty will conduct a selection process based on meeting eligibility criteria and the student's academic performance.

To support the preparation process of the scholarship recipients and the Rosarian community, the Faculty will provide an elective course for undergraduates and continuing education for graduate students during the first semester of each year. This course will be conducted using the material developed by Kaplan-Schweser and will be guided by a professor.

Successful completion of the exam requires a dedicated commitment to personal study hours, and scholarship recipients are expected to fulfill this commitment.

Students need to complete their exam registration (registration fee US$ 350) by the end of February next year for the May exam, or by the end of May next year for the August exam. Please refer to the specific dates on the CFA website.

Students receiving a scholarship are required to participate in the preparation course offered as an elective for undergraduate students and continuing education for master's students or undergraduate students without available credits for the elective. The approximate cost of the preparation course for master's students is $3,000,000.

Even if you are not a scholarship recipient, participation in the process allows students to register for the exam by paying early registration pricing for up to a year after receiving notification of the scholarship award.
