Subjects of special protection

Today, more than ever, people talk about protecting the most vulnerable populations or groups to guarantee equal opportunities and avoid discrimination. However, it is important to recognize that those called “vulnerable” are legally subjects of special protection who deserve a different treatment from decision-makers.

Publicly subsidized private schools, a model to evaluate and improve

The results in the Saber 11 Tests of an important group show that attending a publicly subsidized private schools has a negative effect on student performance. This and other data are revealed in the investigation of Professors Nathalia Urbano and Claudia Milena Díaz, who sought to delve into this Public–Private Alliance model wherein the State subsidizes studies in private schools for those who do not have a place in public education.
